BROWN BEAR HUNTS
Spring Brown Bear - Hunts are operated out of our lodge located on Alegnagik Lake. We conduct our bear hunitng mainly in the beautiful Wood-Tikchik State Park, the largest state park in North America. Generally, we start hunting the 1st - 30th of April or May 1st, which makes for favorable weather conditions (20-30 degrees). There is usually a lot of snow in the spring, so transportation is mainly snowmobiles or snowshoes. This is a great hunt for a chance at a huge bear. Prime times fill up fast.
Fall Brown Bear - Fall Brown Bear hunts are less physical than spring hunts. You will mostly be in remote tent camps in the Wood-Tikchik State Park. Most of the hunting will be out of boats, running the lake and watching the salmon streams that flow into them. Sept season 10th-30th. The average bear in the fall is 8' to 9'6". This time of year, the bears are fat and have great hides. This is also a great hunt for a chance at a huge bear.

ALASKA-YUKON MOOSE HUNTS
Alaska-Yukon Moose season is open from September 5th-15th, consisting of a eleven day hunt. The areas we hunt are the Nushagak River and the Wood-Tikchik State Park. All of the moose hunting is done out of tent camps on the rivers and lakes. You will be in a boat a lot of the time. We provide guided and unguided camps. Moose are rutting this time of the year so our strategy is mainly calling, spotting and stalking. Average moose is 60" plus with a good brow palmation. This area has a very healthy and thriving moose population. Huge bull potential.

FISHING
The Nushagak is the largest run of wild Kings in the world. With annual runs reaching up to 200,000. The months of June and July are the best time to fish. We fish out of one of the very few private lodges on the river which is located about 3 miles away from other fishermen. This gives our clients a great opportunity to catch fish and relax in a true wilderness atmosphere with all the amenities. Other fish that call this river home are Dog or Chum Salmon, Humpey or Pink Salmon, Northern Pike and even an occasional Rainbow trout. It's a great family trip! Or even a great opportunity to take a few business partners and enjoy the best of Alaska!
