Brad commands the respect of the area's other hunters and trips to town usually inlove inquires from others on why he has been so succesful. Brad's success comes from working hard,he is up each morning before anyone else and is still working while the others are ready to call it a night. During the off season, Brad vigorously works at improving the quality of his trips by scouting, obtaining new properties, making improvements to the lodge, and exploring ways to satisfy his clients.

WHITETAIL DEER HUNTS Pro Outfitters offers seasonal hunts in Kansas and Missouri with a variety of sporting methods, including muzzle loader, rifle and archery. For your convenience and safety, hunts are conducted primarily from tree stands and ground blinds. Hunters are welcome to bring their own stands or use the pre-located ladder stands set up by the Pro Outfitters staff. Our stands are checked and maintained during the season to insure their safety. Stand locations are strategically placed throughout the season, based on scouting and deer activity.

DUCK HUNTS Whistling wings cut through the dark sky. A splash in front of the blind announces the morning's first arrivals. Others follow. A mallard hen bellows out her intentions from straight over head. The faint glow on the surface exposes additional ducks that have landed. More birds chatter as they approach. Finally the announcement is made: shooting is legal. Only seconds pass before the silhouettes of a dozens greenheads cup into the decoys. The hunt is on.

GOOSE HUNTS We hunt geese in Northwest Missouri near Squaw Creek National Wildlife refuge, which is a major staging area for over a million Snow, Blue and Ross Geese. The snow geese hunts run from the middle of February through the end of March, during the Conservation Order. The Conservation Order has been called to thin out the over populated Snow Geese. This order is very liberal, allowing for the use of electronic calls, unplugged guns and no limits. This makes for fast and furious action. The hunts take place on both land and water on private leases. For up-close and personal shooting and comfort and concealment, we use finisher blinds. We also use large spreads of decoys to insure hunter success.

TURKEY HUNTS It's thundering out in the woods, but the storm that is approaching struts smugly, dragging a long beard. As the huge gobbler comes into sight, the hunter's heart races as he struggles to steady his shotgun. Off the end of the barrels he sees the proud bird puff up in full regalia, stretch its neck and bellow again. The sound resonates through the spring foliage. The next few steps bring the trophy within range. It's time.

Spring is no doubt one of the most beautiful times of the year. Combine our expert staff with fields of wildflowers and strutting toms and you have the perfect picture of a spring turkey hunt with Pro Outfitters.

FISHING TRIPS It is hard to beat a day of floating through the Ozarks on gin clear, spring-fed water catching feisty smallmouth bass on light tackle. Relief from the warmest days comes in the form of a dip in the stream while your shore lunch is sizzling on the stove. A glimpse of an otter, turkey or deer is always a possibility. Your friends will be envious when they see pictures. Building memories is what we do.

Trips are taken on a number of streams. Full-day and overnight trips are customized for each customer. Inexperienced anglers are welcome but this trip is probably not for the person who has never been in a canoe. These are typically one-on-one canoe trips -one angler with one guide. We don't float weekends because of the possible river traffic. Solitude and quality fishing are what we strive for.
