COUES DEER HUNTS
Coues deer hunting is quickly becoming a passion among serious hunters worldwide. This beautiful animal respectfully earns its nickname the "Gray Ghost" of the Southwest. This sleek deer stands in a class all its own and should not be compared to an Eastern Whitetail. Hunting him demands superb optics and glassing skills as well as excellent stalking and long range shooting abilities. Hunts are often comparable to desert bighorn sheep hunts. JAVELINA HUNTS
Collared Peccary more commonly referred to as javelina, are just down right fun to hunt! This unique pig-like animal is native only to the southwest and Mexico. Every winter TLO looks forward to getting out of the cold and heading to southern Arizona to pursue javelina. The weather is beautiful this time of year and often, only a long sleeve shirt is needed. Combine the beautiful weather and the uniqueness of hunting these unpredictable little tuskers and you'll know why we say that javelina hunting is just down right fun. They say that the javelina was made for the archery hunter but they are a worthy game animal no matter what way you choose to hunt.

BLACK BEAR HUNTS
Pursuing Arizona Black Bears with Timberland Outfitters is not for the faint of heart. We do not hunt with dogs and baiting is not permitted. We hunt down to earth, one on one with the bears. We use two basic types of hunting techniques: "spot and stalk" and "predator calling". Both are exhilarating ways to hunt and will test the nerves of any hunter. Arizona black bears come in a variety of colors and the areas we choose to operate in have good populations of mature bears
